Typhonium or quad-Curium (systematic name quadbibium (Qbb) is the hypothetical chemical element with the symbol Ty and atomic number 422. It is the 9f8 coordinate or simply Gadolinium family. This element is named after the Typhon, a monstrous serpentine giant and one of the most deadly creatures in Greek mythology. It is not found in nature and it can only be created inside a laboratory. Typhonium's isotopes very unstable. The most stable, 1297Ty half-life is 0.47 yoctoseconds (4.7x10-25 seconds).
